Join Our Team as a Service Technician!

Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and passionate about troubleshooting and repairing technology? AllTerra Central is seeking a Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing industry-leading geospatial and positioning equipment while providing exceptional customer service throughout the repair process. What You'll Do

As a Service Technician, you will:

• Diagnose equipment issues using technical manuals and troubleshooting procedures.
• Prioritize and process repair work on a first-in, first-out basis.
• Log incoming equipment and accessories into the service management system.
• Prepare repair estimates and obtain customer approval before beginning work.
• Communicate repair status, timelines, and costs directly with customers.
• Create and manage service orders from intake through completion.
• Coordinate shipping of repaired equipment and third-party repair items.
• Process warranty claims and warranty-related repairs.
• Maintain relationships with manufacturers, including Trimble Service Centers, and other service vendors.
• Support internal teams with technical assistance, equipment inspections, and urgent repair requests.
• Perform monthly inventory reconciliation and maintain accurate records.
• Stay current on required training, certifications, and product knowledge.
• Answer incoming calls and provide technical support as needed.
