Job summary

AllTerra Central, Inc. is seeking a Survey Technology Specialist to join our geospatial team in Houston. You will work hands-on with Trimble survey and MGIS equipment, supporting rentals, new equipment sales, and field-ready deployments.

You’ll inspect, test, and troubleshoot gear, coordinate with sales and operations, and help deliver outstanding customer experiences. Ideal candidates have experience with Trimble/MGIS products, strong communication skills, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset

Qualifications

• Experience with Trimble survey, construction, or MGIS products and software is essential.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent commensurate experience is required.
• Highly motivated and ambitious.
• Ability to speak in a professional manner and communicate well via phone, email or in person
• Computer Literate – MS Office preferred
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve shared objectives.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with a track record of meeting all weekly and monthly goals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate rental requests with customers and the sales team via phone, email, and in-person.
• Manage rental tracking using Microsoft Business Central
• Execute pre-rental inspections and quality assurance testing for all outgoing equipment kits.
• Perform post-rental inspections on all returned equipment, identifying and documenting any issues or damages.
• Oversee the entire shipping and receiving process for all rental gear.
• Ensure all QA/QC measures are followed and achieved, including loading OS, software, firmware, system files, preset settings, and licenses on devices
• Test all equipment to ensure it is fully functional and ready for use upon receipt by the customer
• Work closely with our sales and operation teams to ensure delivery deadlines are achieved
• Resolve a variety of technical issues for walk-in clients, ensuring a positive and efficient service experience.
• Work closely with our operation and supply teams to achieve inventory compliance and maintain inventory control.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

RENTALS

Engage with the latest Trimble technologies to ensure each unit is optimized and ready for field deployment.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
