Job summary

TEKsystems in Atlanta, GA is seeking a field-service technician with mechanical aptitude to support banking security systems. This permanent, onsite role covers roughly a 2‑hour radius around Raleigh, with occasional overnight travel and a light on‑call rotation.

You will work on vaults, safes, lock mechanisms, access control, CCTV and alarm systems, performing troubleshooting and preventive maintenance while delivering reliable service to banking clients during business hours.

Qualifications

• Written communication and clear documentation are required; notes affect billing.
• Customer de-escalation: calm frustrated customers and defuse tense situations.
• Team player: collaboration across remote/onsite teammates and support others.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch to customer sites to diagnose and repair issues.

Estimated: Around 10% Typically: Drive home same day Overnight stay only when practical ________________________________________ On-Call Rotation Roughly once per month Call Volume Extremely low. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
