Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Lead Technician for onsite work in Tampa, FL. You will lead project installs, configure and test enterprise security systems with minimal supervision, and communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has intermediate level experience in CCTV, access control, video analytics, and related security systems, with a willingness to learn and advance leadership skills. This is a contract-to-hire role with competitive hourly pay.

Looking for Lead Technician who can work independently and will receive training to improve their lead skills.

Leading the projects for installation, terminating, configuring, and testing enterprise security systems with minimal supervision. System knowledge of CCTV, access control, IP cameras, intrusion systems, video analytics, IP network and visitor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead team on projects installs
• Ability to organize and manage workload in an efficient/ effective manner.
• Ability to interact with customer and be general supervision over project.
• Manage quality control and provide customer service.
• Responsible for project tracking.

Certifications

Current certification in one of the following is a plus: Current certification or proficiency in one of the following is a plus:

• Access Control: Pro-Watch, Genetec, Software House, Lenel/S2, OpenPath.
• Video: Axis, Exacq, Milestone, MaxPro, Genetec, Victor, Avigilon, Hanwha.
• Locking hardware, ASSA ABLOY, Von Duprin & Adams Rite.
• Intrusion: Vista, DSC, Bosch & DMP.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
