TEKsystems is hiring a Bank Teller to support a Fortune 100 financial institution at the Jacksonville, NC location. The role requires handling cash, advising members on products, and processing standard banking transactions in a full-time, onsite setting.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of cash handling experience in in-person customer service, retail, or banking.
• Bank Teller experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and via email.
• High School Diploma is required.

TEKsystems is currently hiring a Bank Teller to start with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution! Branch Location: 422 Yopp Road, Jacksonville, North Carolina, 28540, United States (Located in Freedom Shopping Center across from Lowes)

Job Description

• To provide members and prospective members the full range of products and services offered by the client including depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust and estate accounts; Lending products; and credit/debit cards.
• To perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision.
• Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans
• Assist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection and credit card applications
• Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services
• Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly
• Identify opportunities to cross service products and increase product penetration
• Perform platform banking functions

Experience

• 1-3 years of cash handling experience in in-person customer service, retail, and banking industry
• Bank Teller experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and via email.
• High School Diploma is required.

Schedule

• Full-time/ 40 hours per week
• MUST be available between Monday-Friday: 8:00am-6:00pm, Saturday: 8:00am-2:30pm
• Could be expected to work 2-3 Saturdays a month depending on business need

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, NC.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
