Job summary

Gilchrist Automotive is seeking a Technician to diagnose mechanical issues, perform multi-point inspections, and complete warranty repairs with a focus on safety and quality. You will service transmissions, A/C, engine mounts, timing belts, and related components, while delivering cars on time and documenting findings for guests.

We value a 18+ workforce, valid license, and automotive training; dealership experience and ASE certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Full-time availability required.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience from an automotive school or program.
• 2–3 years of dealership experience a plus.
• ASE certificates a plus.
• Automotive certificate a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical issues, recommend safety-oriented fixes, and repair correctly the first time.
• Administer multi-point inspections and warranty repairs.
• Service transmissions, A/C, engine mounts, timing belts, and more.
• Replace radiators and head gaskets as needed.
• Deliver guests' cars on time, every time.
• Take detailed notes during and after inspections.
• Keep workstation clean at all times.
• Create and maintain loyal service guest relationships.
