Job summary

Gilchrist Automotive in Terrell, TX is seeking a full-time Service Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles, perform multi-point inspections, and complete warranty work. You will service transmissions, A/C, engine components, and more, while delivering cars on time and maintaining guest relationships.

We value safety, a positive team attitude, and dedication to guest satisfaction. Automotive schooling and ASE credentials are a plus, with solid dealer experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Full time availability and 18+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience at an Automotive School or Program.
• 2–3 years of prior dealership experience is a plus.
• Automotive certificate or ASE certificates are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform safe, correct repairs on the first attempt.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and warranty repairs.
• Service transmissions, A/C, engine mounts, timing belts, and more.
• Replace radiators and head gaskets as needed.
• Document inspection notes and deliver vehicles on time.
• Maintain clean work area and foster guest relationships.
