Gilchrist Automotive is seeking a dedicated Technician in Terrell, TX to perform bumper-to-bumper vehicle service. You will diagnose issues, conduct multi-point inspections, and ensure safety while delivering a 100% guest satisfaction experience.

Qualifications

• Must have completed automotive training or program.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Automotive certificate is preferred.

• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform safe, correct repairs on the first attempt.
• Administer multi-point inspections and warranty repairs.
• Service transmissions, A/C, engine mounts, timing belts, and more.

Job Location: Platinum CDRJ - Terrell, TX 75160

As a Technician, you’re one of the most important team members at Gilchrist Automotive because you’re responsible for performing important vehicle service duties bumper-to-bumper. You’ll use your knowledge and skills to keep our guests safe on the road, follow safety procedures and regulations, and contribute to Platinum's reputation for excellence.

Your work is key in ensuring guests leave safe and 100% satisfied with their Gilchrist experience. This role is a great way to kick start your career with us!

What You’ll Do:

• Diagnose mechanical issues, recommended and safety-oriented, and fix them correctly the first time
• Administer multi-point inspections and warranty repairs
• Service transmissions, air-conditioning, engine mounts, timing belts, and more
• Replace radiators and head gaskets
• Deliver guests’ cars on time, every time, as promised
• Take detailed notes during and post-inspection
• Keep workstation clean at all times
• Create and maintain loyal service guest relationships

What You’ll Need:

• Full time availability. You’ll also need to be at least 18 years old
• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Experience at an Automotive School or Program
• 2-3 years of prior dealership experience a plus
• Automotive certificate a plus
• ASE certificates a plus
• Dedication to safety and serving guests.
• Positive, fun, team-minded attitude.
