The Service Team Coordinator handles outbound and inbound customer service calls related to patient scheduling, inquiries, and other interactions. This role is key in providing excellent customer service to support better patient health. The coordinator supports various initiatives and medical centers, adhering to policies and regulations, and aims to meet quality, compliance, and productivity standards while delivering VIP customer service. This position may require in-office presence when necessary.

The schedule for this position is Tuesday through Saturday, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM Eastern time.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
  1. Operate in a call center environment, handling inbound and outbound calls related to patient scheduling, sales, and inquiries.
  2. Respond to patient inquiries following the ChenMed care model.
  3. Follow up to ensure patient satisfaction; escalate issues as needed.
  4. Make timely decisions according to department standards and policies.
  5. Document interactions using web-based technology.
  6. Maintain business relationships by providing prompt, accurate service to promote loyalty.
  7. Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure VIP customer service.
  8. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Business acumen

  • Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Passion for serving others, especially seniors, with proactive solutions
  • Ability to operate in a demanding environment
  • Proficiency in keyboarding and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationwide up to 10%
  • Fluency in English; bilingual skills (Spanish, Creole, Vietnamese) preferred
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center
  • Experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment is highly preferred
  • Experience with web-based CRM systems
