Job summary

Skyline Ford is seeking a service advisor to join a hands-on, customer-focused team in our service department. You will answer calls, schedule service, and assist with shop workflow while providing clear updates to customers.

Ideal candidates have automotive service experience and a practical understanding of repairs. CDK/Xtime familiarity is a strong plus, with a requirement for Saturday availability and a team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Automotive industry experience is required.
• Dealership/service-advisor experience is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with CDK and Xtime is a strong plus.

Skyline Ford is looking for someone with a mechanical background, strong customer service skills, and the drive to learn. This is a hands-on opportunity to join a Ford dealership and play an important role on an experienced service team.

What you’ll do:

• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and help customers with service questions.
• Assist with dispatching work to technicians and coordinating shop workflow.
• Support advisors with repair orders, customer updates, and follow-through.
• Handle overflow customers during the week.
• Serve as the Saturday advisor, managing customer check-in, repair recommendations, and vehicle delivery.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous automotive industry experience—whether as a service advisor, service writer, scheduler, independent shop assistant, or in another automotive service role.
• A mechanical background and a practical understanding of automotive repairs and maintenance.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional phone presence.
• Organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Initiative, dependable follow-through, and a strong desire to learn.
• Availability to work Saturdays.

Automotive industry experience is required. Dealership and service advisor experience are preferred but not required. Familiarity with CDK and Xtime is a strong plus.

Compensation: Pay depends on experience (DOE).
