Job summary

Taylor Bank is seeking a full-time Service Specialist for our Chincoteague, Virginia branch. You will handle customer transactions, assist with account maintenance, issue debit cards, and help customers navigate digital banking tools to meet their financial needs.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent, prior customer service experience, and strong communication skills. Banking experience is a plus; MS Office proficiency is helpful.

• Prior customer service experience is expected.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer transactions including deposits and withdrawals.
• Maintain accounts and assist with address changes.

WE ARE SEEKING:

A full-time Service Specialist with great people skills to service customers in our Chincoteague, Virginia branch location.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Handling customer transactions, including:
• Deposits and withdrawals
• Account maintenance, such as address changes
• Issuing debit cards
• Responding to routine account inquiries
• Assisting customers with digital banking navigation
• Explaining products and services and making appropriate referrals
• Supporting day-to-day administrative and operational tasks
• Additional tasks as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred
• Prior customer service experience
• Prior banking experience a plus
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
• Strong communication skills
• A professional appearance
