Job summary

Vertiv in Westerville, Ohio is seeking an engineering professional to integrate component services into cohesive service solutions for Vertiv customers, providing technical support and customized options. The role works with ERS and Vertiv Services stakeholders to craft professional service and commissioning proposals.

You will review initial RFPs to assess fit with our business and plan actions to win bids.

Qualifications

BS degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent experience.
Fluent English written and verbal with electrical/mechanical terminology.
Essential knowledge of NFPA 70E, IEEE and ANSI/NETA.
Experience with Medium/Low Voltage distribution; HV/substations a plus.
Ability to read building drawings, electrical schematics and HVAC drawings.

Responsibilities

Support Bid Center and Complex Project Management with NETA testing proposals for Large Projects.
Use Quote Configurator to provide comprehensive quote support to ERS and Vertiv Sales.
Produce customized service proposals reflecting scope, specifications and profitability.
Work with ERS and Vertiv stakeholders to develop professional service and commissioning proposals.
Assist commissioning group to define incremental scope and service solutions from audits and tests.
