Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a seasoned Service Department Manager in Lowell, AR to lead a dealership service team with a focus on profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; continuing course in Management also required.
• Minimum four years as a mechanic and at least 2 years as a shop foreman or lead mechanic.
• Must be able to read and write English; read computer generated reports, invoices, etc.
• Must have and maintain a Commercial Drivers License (CDL).

Responsibilities

• Develop and follow annual service budget based on labor hours attainable and measurable.
• Develop and implement annually a Service marketing and promotion plan to generate labor sales.
• Provide leadership for recruitment, screening, hiring, training, and development of Service personnel.
• Maintain all management reports to audit Service Department performance monthly.
• Audit work orders for completeness and accuracy prior to customer billing.
• Schedule and assign jobs to employees to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Ensure proper manufacturer warranty, safety, emission, and product improvement programs are completed timely.
• Meet monthly with Sales and Parts Managers to coordinate inter-departmental plans.
• Periodically visit primary customers to assess service needs and satisfaction.
• Coordinate dealership technical programs and service training sessions.
