Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years service manager experience in automotive or heavy trucks.
• Experience managing a department of 10+ employees (preferred).
• CDK software experience (preferred).
• Heavy duty truck dealership experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Meet department goals and objectives.
• Foster teamwork within service and other departments.
• Coordinate with Parts Manager for cohesive operations.
• Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with regulations that may affect the department.
• Attend managers’ meetings as requested.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
• Ensure customers are greeted promptly and given fair estimates/quotes.
• Handle customer complaints according to guidelines.
• Monitor and report department performance with reports and surveys.
