Job summary

Louisiana Cat is seeking a Service Shop Supervisor at our Reserve, LA location to coordinate service department activities and mentor technicians. You will drive work throughput, prioritize tasks with the Service Manager, ensure safety standards, and maintain high workmanship across Cat equipment lines.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of management experience, strong communication, and a solid safety mindset. This role involves some travel and requires a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment or related product lines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of work throughout the service shop with a sense of urgency.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to promote positive relationships.
• Organize, prioritize, schedule, and assign work with the Service Manager and Coordinator.
• Review job specifics with technicians at job start, highlighting safety, quality, and time requirements.
• Sign off on all JSAs in the service shop.
• Monitor work in progress and ensure timely, high-quality completion.
• Provide on‑the‑job technical training and recommend formal training as needed.
