Job summary

The role requires strong leadership, safety awareness, and efficiency to coordinate daily work, review service logs, and communicate with the parts department to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supervisory experience in heavy-equipment, agricultural, or tractor shop.
• Hands-on knowledge of heavy equipment service and repair.
• Strong organizational skills and accurate record-keeping and billing.
• Ability to read service manuals, schematics, and use online technical resources.
• Good communication and leadership skills; able to keep a team on task.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Verify parts and supplies are charged to the correct jobs and reconcile inventory usage
• Assist technicians in troubleshooting and locating technical information/specs

• Train and mentor technicians; enforce company policies and procedures
• Communicate with parts department and management about parts needs and backorders
• Support scheduling and prioritize jobs to meet customer expectations
