Job summary

Crystal-Tractor-of-Leesburg in Leesburg, FL is seeking a full-time Shop Foreman to lead our service team. The role offers up to $45/hour based on experience, plus comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities in a Fourth-generation family-owned shop.

You will supervise technicians, set priorities, inspect repairs, and ensure high-quality service that meets manufacturer specifications. A valid driver’s license and pre-employment screenings are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Diesel mechanic experience preferred.
• Service Technician experience required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership.
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair agricultural equipment.
• Communicate with the Service Manager about additional services needed.
• Provide time estimates for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Inspect completed units and ensure repairs are proper and durable.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership.
• Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair agricultural equipment
• Communicate directly with the Service Manager so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Set clear standards.
• Dispatch work according to priority and follow through on progress.
• Hold people accountable, including themselves, and communicate issues early.
• Inspect completed units and ensure repairs are completed properly.
• Prevent repeat repairs by ensuring technicians are performing professional work.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Diesel mechanic experience preferred
• Service Technician experience required
• Kubota experience preferred
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
• Teammate with the ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
