Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a Service Coordinator to manage customer interactions, schedule preventative maintenance and emergency calls, and ensure timely service delivery. You will field inquiries, analyze issues, and coordinate with technicians to resolve problems and maintain accurate records.

The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask under pressure, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2–5 years of experience in customer service is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task under pressure are essential.
• Good decision-making and practical judgment are important for prioritizing tasks.
• Excellent communication and a positive attitude help in serving customers.

Responsibilities

• Schedule preventive maintenance inspections and emergency calls using the dispatch board to keep schedules on time and backlog-free.
• Answer customer calls and dispatch technicians for emergencies as needed, ensuring timely resolution.
• Generate and monitor internal and external correspondence related to service work orders and verify accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist with accurate pricing of labor and/or materials per contract requirements.
• Prepare subcontract work orders for invoicing, including test reports and quotes.
• Track and quote deficiencies and maintain customer information in databases.
• Dispatch technicians based on site needs and maintain daily/weekly/monthly schedules.
• Process work orders and invoices and obtain purchase orders when required.
• Communicate effectively with customers and follow up on inquiries and special requests.
