Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an Aftermarket Sales & Service Pump Technician to support commercial, industrial, and healthcare customers across Montebello, Inland Empire, and surrounding Southern California areas.

The role covers electrical controls, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of various pump systems, with training pay $28-32/hour followed by a $72,000+ annual salary plus company vehicle and benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work independently in the field.
• Excellent problem-solving and deductive reasoning abilities.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned territory.
• Ability to lift equipment and work in industrial environments.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company vehicle insurance eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical control panels using multimeters and diagnostic equipment.
• Troubleshoot relays, contactors, breakers, fuses, float switches, transducers, and other control components.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions.
• Configure, program, and adjust VFDs, PLCs, and HMI systems.
• Support water flow, pressure regulation, and system staging applications.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair booster pump systems, vertical turbine and end-suction pumps, VMS systems, submersible pumps, and emergency water systems.

Direct Hire Opportunity
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00/hour DOE during training, transitioning to $72,000+ annual salary, company vehicle, and full benefits package.
We are seeking a motivated and independent Aftermarket Sales & Service Pump Technician to support commercial, industrial, and healthcare customers throughout the Montebello, Inland Empire, and surrounding Southern California areas.

What You'll Do

Electrical Controls & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and repair electrical control panels using multimeters and diagnostic equipment.
• Troubleshoot relays, contactors, breakers, fuses, float switches, transducers, and other control components.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions.
• Configure, program, and adjust VFDs, PLCs, and HMI systems.
• Support water flow, pressure regulation, and system staging applications.

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair:

• Booster pump systems
• Vertical turbine and end-suction pumps
• Vertical multistage (VMS) systems
• Submersible pump systems
• Emergency water systems
• Greywater and rainwater harvesting systems
• Storage and hydropneumatic tanks

Meet with building engineers and facility personnel.
Evaluate existing equipment and recommend upgrades or replacement solutions.
Assist in generating aftermarket sales opportunities and crossover replacement projects.

Required Qualifications
