Job summary

John W. Danforth Company is seeking a Service Sales Executive in the Tonawanda, NY area to grow our service business by identifying customer needs and delivering tailored HVACR and plumbing maintenance solutions.

You will generate new service contract opportunities and expand relationships within your assigned market. Responsibilities include regular sales calls, developing estimates and proposals, and converting customers into repeat service contract clients while staying aligned with safety

Qualifications

• Sales or business development experience preferred, ideally within HVACR, plumbing, mechanical services, or a related industry.
• Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) is a plus.
• Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and develop practical, value-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Make regular sales calls, track sales activity, and maintain accurate customer relationship management (CRM) data.
• Assess customer needs, develop service solutions, prepare estimates, and present proposals to customers.
• Drive growth of the service contract business within the assigned territory.
• Convert construction and warranty customers into long-term service contract clients.
• Monitor market and competitor activity, including service offerings and pricing, to support account strategies.
• Collaborate with Marketing to increase customer awareness of Danforth service offerings.
• Perform building surveys while complying with customer and company site safety requirements.
• Represent Danforth in a professional and positive manner while building strong customer relationships.

Job Summary

Geographic Disclosure

Compensation Range: $60,000-$70,000

Other Compensation: Commission Eligible
