Job summary

John W. Danforth Company in Williston, VT is seeking a Service Sales Executive to grow our service contracts by identifying client needs and delivering value-driven HVACR and plumbing maintenance solutions.

You will call on new and existing customers, present proposals, and build long-term partnerships while ensuring service excellence and safe, compliant project execution.

Qualifications

• Sales or business development experience preferred, ideally within HVACR, plumbing, mechanical services, or a related industry.
• Bachelor's degree is a plus.
• Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and develop practical, value-driven solutions.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to support profitable growth through sustainable sales initiatives.
• Ability to perform building surveys and comply with site safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Make regular sales calls, track sales activity, and maintain accurate CRM data.
• Assess customer needs, develop service solutions, prepare estimates, and present proposals to customers.
• Drive growth of the service contract business within the assigned territory.
• Convert construction and warranty customers into long-term service contract clients.
• Monitor market and competitor activity, including service offerings and pricing, to support account strategies.
• Collaborate with Marketing to increase customer awareness of Danforth service offerings.
• Perform building surveys while complying with site safety requirements.
• Represent Danforth in a professional and positive manner while building strong customer relationships.

Job Summary

Compensation Range: $60,000-$70,000Other Compensation: Commission Eligible
