This is a high-impact role that helps advance technology by supporting clients in maximizing their equipment’s lifecycle through Leybold’s service solutions, acting as a liaison between the factory and clients, and promoting the VTS Service Ladder.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Work both remotely and onsite at advanced factories to demonstrate how to extend equipment life via the VTS Service Ladder.
  2. Promote service products by understanding failure modes and offering solutions that reduce downtime across various markets including metallurgy, aerospace, automotive, and more.
  3. Develop strategies to expand business within the region, including current and new clients.
  4. Provide excellent technical support and service to customers.
  5. Manage company property and maintain client relationships.
  6. Sell Leybold’s Service Product range.
  7. Support sales team with operational reviews and presentations.
  8. Focus on developing new business with unserviced or lost clients, or new installations.
  9. Analyze customer needs and coordinate with internal teams for after-sales solutions.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

The role involves exposure to mechanical parts, outdoor conditions, fumes, chemicals, and noise. It requires physical activity including lifting up to 50 pounds, and frequent computer use. The position is 100% remote with travel up to 50%, often overnight.

Scope of the Job
  • Domestic geographical scope.
  • Interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Responsibility for a defined revenue target.
  • No direct reports.
Skills, Knowledge, and Education
  • Engineering/science degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven lead generation skills and customer-facing experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and technical knowledge.
  • Ability to create tailored solutions and work independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
Additional Requirements
  • Prospecting and sales mentality.
  • Background in rotating equipment or technical operations preferred.
  • High energy, curiosity, and quick learner.
  • Valid driver’s license; military veterans encouraged to apply.
