This is a high-impact position that makes a difference in the world. At Leybold, we help advance the world's technology by helping companies push the boundaries of their capabilities. In this role, you will work with applications engineers, product engineers, and account managers to design and offer Leybold services and solutions that help clients optimize their process efficiencies. You will act as the service sales liaison between the Leybold factory and the client, teaching companies how to maximize the lifecycle of their equipment through the VTS Service Ladder.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Spend time both in the home office and on-site at advanced factories to demonstrate how to maximize equipment lifespan by promoting the VTS Service Ladder.
  • Promote company service products by understanding failure modes and offering service options to mitigate downtime and failures, focusing on markets including metallurgy, energy, food production, aerospace, automotive, and more.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand business in your region, including current clients and new opportunities.
  • Provide outstanding technical support, service, and product assistance to customers.
  • Maintain company property, including vehicles, equipment, and stock, at your control or customer sites.
  • Sell the Leybold Services Product range.
  • Collaborate with the equipment sales team to secure repeat orders and differentiate our services.
  • Prepare and deliver service sales presentations as needed.
  • Focus on developing new business from unserviced, lost, or newly installed equipment, or from competitors.
  • Analyze customer needs and coordinate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive service solutions.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The physical and environmental conditions are typical for this role, including exposure to mechanical parts, outdoor weather, fumes, chemicals, and noise. The role requires physical activity such as lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. This position is 100% remote with frequent travel (~50%), including overnight stays.
