This high-impact position involves working with applications engineers, product engineers, and account managers to design and offer Leybold services and solutions, helping clients optimize their equipment lifecycle through the VTS Service Ladder. You will act as a service sales liaison, teaching companies how to maximize equipment lifespan.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work both remotely and on-site at advanced factories to demonstrate how to maximize equipment life by promoting the VTS Service Ladder.
  • Promote company service products by understanding failure modes and offering solutions to reduce downtime and failures, focusing on various markets including metallurgy, energy, aerospace, automotive, and more.
  • Develop strategies to expand business in your region, including current clients and new opportunities.
  • Provide outstanding technical support and product assistance to customers.
  • Maintain company property and equipment, including vehicles, tools, and demo products.
  • Sell Leybold’s service product portfolio.
  • Support the sales team with operational reviews and presentations, highlighting service as a key differentiator.
  • Develop new business from unserviced or newly installed equipment, including competitive equipment.
  • Analyze customer needs and coordinate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive after-sales solutions.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

The role involves exposure to mechanical parts, outdoor conditions, fumes, airborne particles, and occasional work at heights or with chemicals. You will sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds. The position is 100% remote with travel up to 50%, often overnight.

  • Engineering or technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven lead generation skills and customer-facing experience.
  • Excellent communication and technical knowledge.

  • Proficiency in MS Office.
