Application Sales Engineer, Power Systems & Controls

We are looking for an Application Sales Engineer based remotely in the NY/NJ area. The role involves developing specifications with end-users, engineers, and contractors to achieve order volume targets, and driving growth through strategic sales activities. You will support accounts to ensure profitable growth and high customer satisfaction, working closely with product management, quotations, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead system & product specification and solution sales activities to meet financial goals.
  • Demonstrate successful execution of customer-facing strategies.
  • Interpret customer needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Utilize market intelligence to inform sales strategies.
  • Support planning, budgeting, and forecasting using CRM tools.
  • Coordinate proposals and contribute to product development and project execution.
  • Act as a primary contact for customers in commercial matters.
Qualifications:
Basic:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in leadership, communication, analytical thinking, and sales in technical environments.
  • Ability to work legally in the US without sponsorship.
Preferred:
  • Experience with electrical equipment solutions and engineering background.
