ACF, Inc. in Daytona Beach, FL seeks a results-driven sales professional to grow aftermarket parts and service business for power generation equipment. You will develop proposals, present to plant engineers and buyers, and pursue new equipment leads.

You’ll coordinate aftermarket programs, maintain industry knowledge, close contracts, and build a dealer network to expand loyalty and revenue.

The purpose of the SSC position is to increase aftermarketparts and service business and to generate new equipment leadswithin the sales department. The SSC will promote the Companyservice and parts departments to increase sales in PMagreements, equipment repairs, rental equipment, fuel tankremediation and generally promote ACF Standby Systems as theprimary source for aftermarket parts and service of powergeneration equipment.

Essential Job Functions

• Develop sales proposals of generator products for customersand professionally present proposals to plant engineers,maintenance personnel, purchasing agents, and/or company executives
• Develop Aftermarket program proposals for the generatorservice department for customers and professionally presentproposals to plant engineers, maintenance personnel, purchasingagents, and/or company executives
• Research and evaluate customer application in order toproperly size and/or develop an aftermarket recommendation thatmeets the customer’s needs
• Ensure the establishment of industry contacts and develop alist of potential customers
• Follow up on sales leads and make cold calls
• Maintain updated understanding of industry trends, technicaldevelopments, and government regulations that effect target markets
• Proactively take action to close sales and finalize contracts
• Resolve customer’s problems with product and/or services
• Follow up on product deliveries
• Monitor and work within established expense allowance
• Generate detailed scope of supply (PMU) and provide toApplication Engineer or Service Manager for processing
• Develop sales proposals of generator products for customersand professionally present proposals to plant engineers,maintenance personnel, purchasing agents, and/or company executives

Additional Job Functions

• Establish and maintain a sub-dealer network withingeographic territory, including training the sub-dealer andassisting them with the financial aspect of the business
• Collect payment and financial documents from customers
• Establish and maintain a teamwork approach in the area ofaftermarket products and service departments in order to developand maintain customer loyalty

Experience and Skills

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (includingphysical and work environment)

• Well developed sales and presentation skills
• Computer literacy is required, including a working knowledgeof applications such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Basic mechanical and technical aptitude including geometricand other mathematical formulas
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to establish a solid relationship with manufacturer
• Proven interpersonal skills with both internal and external customers
• Basic marketing knowledge
• Must be able to handle high pressure situations and adapt wellto changes in the market

Minimum Job Qualifications (education, workexperience, licenses/certifications)

Associate’s degree or 2 to 5 years of sales experience(industrial sales preferred), or an equivalent combination ofeducation and experience
