Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hard-working Service Route Driver for the Warsaw, IN location. This full-time, first-shift role runs 4am–12pm and involves loading the vehicle, delivering products to client locations, and maintaining equipment and stock levels at accounts.

The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, can pass a DOT physical, and can lift up to 50 pounds. A strong customer-friendly approach and independent work style are valued.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Load company vehicle with products for service locations.
• Drive to client locations to transport and deliver products.
• Load/unload products and stock at accounts.
• Keep refrigeration and machines at accounts in good condition.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Service Route Driver.

This is a full-time position in Warsaw, IN. The schedule for this position is 1st Shift, 4am-12pm.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
