Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Service Route Driver to load, transport, and deliver products to client locations with a strong emphasis on customer service and accurate cash handling. You will stock shelves, ensure proper refrigeration, and maintain inventory at each account.

Candidates should be 21+, have a valid license (CDL not required), and be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. A team-oriented, growth-minded environment awaits with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record; CDL not required.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Load the vehicle with products for service locations.
• Deliver, load, and unload products at client locations.
• Stock shelves in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of cold food products in the truck and at accounts.
• Oversee ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Manage the care of the company vehicle.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Service Route Driver.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
