Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hard-working Service Route Driver to deliver and stock products at client locations. The role requires maintaining refrigerated goods, promoting products, and providing excellent customer service.

Must be 21+, have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, pass a DOT Physical, and lift up to 50 pounds. AVI offers progressive training and a family-oriented work environment.

Responsibilities

• Load company vehicle with products to service locations.
• Drive and deliver products to client locations.

• Maintain refrigeration of all cold items in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee inventory and ordering of merchandise; collect unsold/stale items.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations


• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations


• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested


• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers


• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts


• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory


• Collect unsold and stale merchandise


• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines


• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling


• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts


• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle


• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record


• Ability to pass the DOT Physical


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds


• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products


• Excellent organization and time management skills
