Job summary

Money Express is seeking an energetic Service Representative at Vega Alta Branch to deliver excellent customer service while promoting Money Express products. The role involves processing loan applications, verifying information, and ensuring accurate cash handling in a busy branch environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months in sales or customer service, basic math skills, and the ability to work in a team. Transfer possibilities within Puerto Rico and Florida networks may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of sales, customer service, or collections experience.
• 24 credits toward an Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or banking courses, or a high school diploma with 2 years of related experience.
• Willingness to transfer to other branches within the geographic area.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level service to clients and promote Money Express products and services.
• Fill out loan applications and verify information.
• Validate client identities and notify when irregularities occur.
• Process payments and loans with proper documentation.
• Balance cash drawer daily and maintain cash controls and supervisor approvals as needed.
• Answer and transfer incoming calls.
• Perform clerical tasks to support branch operations.

A Brief Overview

The Service Representative provides timely and effective service to clients to satisfy their needs, orients and offers the products and services of Money Express and complies with applicable effectiveness measures and processes in all transactions. The Service Representative actively participates in the development and maintenance of the portfolio at a minimum level of delinquency.

What you’ll do

• Guarantees a high-level quality service to clients, satisfying their needs and expectations.
• Fills out loans applications and verifies the received information.
• Validates the identity of clients and timely notifies when exceptions and irregularities occur.
• Processes payments transactions following the applicable procedures.
• Processes loans to be disbursed based on the required documentation, also enters the transaction information in the system.
• Balances the cash register in a daily basis.
• Applies the internal control measures related to the cash quantity maintain into the register, refers to supervisor those transactions that requires authorization.
• Promotes the Money Express products and services as well as provides related orientation to clients.
• Answers and transfers incoming calls.
• Performs any other related task assigned by Supervisor.

When needed

• Contact clients with delayed accounts.
• Performs loan disbursement process when needed following the established procedures and policies.
• Performs clerical tasks supporting the Branch operations.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• A minimum of one (6) months of working experience in a sales, customer service, or collections environment.
• Twenty-four(24) credits toward an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree, or Banking course,or High SchoolDiploma with 2 years of related experience.
• Available to be transferred to other Branches within the geographical area.

Competencies:

• Computer literate in the use of MS Office (Outlook & Word).
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Bilingual (English Spanish) preferred
• Sales and Customer service oriented
• Operation Procedure application capability
• Organized and with ability to work in teamswithin adequate prioritization
