Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a Service & Repair Rep to manage service orders, schedules, and related documentation on-site. You will leverage ERP knowledge to apply options to each entry and handle customer inquiries while expediting purchase orders as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year college equivalent, or HS diploma with 2 years related experience.
• Experience and knowledge of electrical, automation or mechanical distribution.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Word and Excel for documentation, data entry, and inspection reporting.

Responsibilities

• Update and schedule service orders and monitor completion in the shop.
• Explain and apply ERP options to each entry.
• Address customer inquiries about service orders.
• Expedite purchase orders as needed.
• Enter and maintain customer sales orders in SX.e distribution software.
• Maintain paperwork from start to finish of the job process.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment following safety regulations.

What You'll Do:

• Work on Service Order updates and scheduling/completion of orders through the shop
• Present and maintain knowledge of all aspects and options available within our ERP and apply it accordingly to each entry
• Adjust and follow through on customer inquiries regarding service orders
• Expedite purchase orders as / if necessary.
• Enter and maintain customer sales orders into SX. e distribution software system as necessary.
• Maintain all paperwork from beginning to end of job process
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations.

What You’ll Need:

• Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or High School Diploma with two (2) years related experience.
• Experience and knowledge of electrical, automation or mechanical distribution.
• Basic computer proficiency required, including Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation, data entry, and inspection reporting.
• Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, dependable, and able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a repair shop environment.
