Job summary

Lithia Chevrolet of Redding is seeking a customer-focused Service Porter to join our Service Department. This role requires open availability to support dealership operations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

You will work outdoors, assist service customers, and help keep the lot and vehicles in top condition. The ideal candidate has a commitment to outstanding service, a team-first mindset, and previous porter or customer service experience in a dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Previous dealership porter, valet, or customer service experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome service customers and assist all customers promptly.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.
• Identify the service advisor with whom the customer has an appointment and notify that advisor.
• Drive vehicles from the service lane to their proper places in the service parking lot.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when the customer pays their bill or as directed by the advisor.
• Maintain the parking lot and a clean, organized work area.
• Assist the Service Receptionist with incoming calls and shuttle driver when needed.
• Perform clerical tasks as assigned by service management.
• Report any safety or integrity concerns to management.
