Job summary

L0057 Lithia Chevrolet of Redding is seeking a customer-focused Service Porter to support the Service Department. The role involves greeting customers, assisting with service flow, and ensuring vehicles are moved and parked properly to maintain a smooth operations process.

You will work outdoors, stay active throughout the day, and bring prior dealership or customer service experience. A valid driver's license is required, and a flexible schedule may be necessary, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome service customers, assist all customers promptly.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel cover, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.
• Identify the service advisor with whom the customer has an appointment and notify that advisor.
• Drive vehicles from the service lane to their proper places in the service parking lot.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when the customer pays their bill or as the advisor directs.
• Maintain the parking lot.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist the Service Receptionist with incoming telephone calls.
• Assist Shuttle driver when needed.
• Perform several clerical tasks as assigned by service management.
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its employees or customers.

Total Rewards

The expected pay range for this position is $16.90 to $18.00 per hourly (DOE). Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
