Job summary

Victory Automotive Group is seeking a Service Porter to warmly greet customers arriving at the service department and facilitate a smooth handoff to the Service Advisor. The role involves moving vehicles on the lot, keeping them clean and damage-free, and assisting with shop and lot custodial duties.

Ideal candidates have an unrestricted license, clean driving record, and a professional appearance. Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment and drive both automatic and manual

Qualifications

• Valid and unrestricted driver's license with clean driving record.
• Professional, dependable; safety and customer-service oriented.
• Basic computer and internet skills.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly, professional attitude and directs them appropriately.
• Installs disposable protective coverings and tags in vehicles brought in for service.
• Delivers keys and repair orders to the Service Advisor after parking.
• Retrieves vehicles for customers when picking up and thanks them for their business.
• Follows all safety and security procedures.
• Attends staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
