Job summary

Victory Automotive Group in Kingsport, TN is seeking an Automotive Service Porter to greet customers in the service department and ensure a smooth transition to a Service Advisor.

The role includes moving customer vehicles around the lot and service areas, keeping them clean and damage-free, and assisting with custodial duties in the shop and lot. A valid driver’s license and professional appearance are required.

Qualifications

• Valid and unrestricted driver's license with clean driving record.
• Safety- and customer-service oriented demeanor.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and guidelines.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly, professional attitude, answering any questions and/or directing them to the appropriate person or location.
• Installs disposable protective coverings (seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, etc.) and tags in all vehicles brought in for service
• Delivers keys and repair order to the appropriate Service Advisor after parking vehicle
• Retrieves vehicles for customers when picking up, waiting at the vehicle, and thanking customers for their business
• Follows all safety and security procedures
• Attends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required
• Performs other duties as assigned
