Job summary

Bell Road Toyota in Phoenix, AZ seeks a friendly Service Porter to support our Service Department and ensure smooth operations. You will greet customers, assist technicians, and help with vehicle movement and cleaning tasks across the lot.

This role offers a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, with opportunities to grow within a top automotive retailer. Training is provided to interested candidates.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist service customers.
• Assist all customers promptly.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats.
• Identify the service advisor for the customer’s appointment.
• Move vehicles from the service lane to parking areas.
• Retrieve customer vehicles after payment or as directed.
• Maintain the parking lot and a clean work area.
• Assist the Service Receptionist with calls.
• Assist Shuttle driver when needed.
• Perform various clerical tasks as assigned by management.
• Report safety concerns to management.

Dealership: L0378 Bell Road Toyota Bell Road Toyota Hiring: Service Porter Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour (DOE) Schedule: We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and welcome service customers in a genuinely friendly and courteous manner.
• Assist all customers promptly.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel cover, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.
• Identify the service advisor with whom the customer has an appointment and notify that advisor.
• Drive vehicles from the service lane to their proper places in the service parking lot.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when their bill is paid or as directed by the advisor.
• Maintain the parking lot in a neat and organized manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist the Service Receptionist with incoming telephone calls when necessary, answering in a professional and prompt manner.
• Assist Shuttle driver when needed.
• Perform various clerical tasks as assigned by service management.
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its employees or customers.
