Job summary

Bayway Auto Group in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Service Car Porter to maintain a neat, well‑displayed lot and assist with vehicle movement and basic maintenance. You will clean vehicles, assist with pickups and deliveries, and perform light maintenance as needed.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service, a professional appearance, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Must be 18+ and able to pass pre‑employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Keeps vehicle lot neat and orderly, moves cars as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Cleans interior and exterior of used vehicles, including the trunk, glove compartment, tires, windows etc.
• Picks up vehicles from and delivers vehicles to customers as directed by management.
• Starts vehicles daily and reports any problems or concerns.
• Picks up parts from parts department.
• Performs light maintenance on vehicles as needed, i.e., replaces windshield wiper blades, replenishes fluids, etc.
• Keeps vehicles fueled and clean.
• Ensures that required forms/stickers have been completed and are properly displayed.
• Other Duties Assigned.

Position Summary

Classification: Full Time; Non -Exempt

Reports To: Service Manager

Essential Duties include but are not limited to:

Relevant Work Experience & Other Requirements:

• Porter or valet experience preferred, we encourage you to apply but this is not a requirement.
• Must be 18 years of age
• All applicants must pass pre-employment screening which includes Background Check, Drug Test, and MVR
• Must have clean driving record, and be licensed for a minimum of 3 years to be insurable
• Must be able to work Saturdays and up to 40 hours per week
• Reliably transportation
