Job summary

Gulf States Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a friendly Valet in Las Vegas to greet clients, park and retrieve vehicles, and support service staff.

You will escort clients to lounges, keep the service drive clear, assist with luggage, report any vehicle damage, and perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of business experience.
• Positive, friendly attitude with a customer service mentality.

Responsibilities

• Greets clients and escorts clients to appropriate service member or customer lounge.
• Parks cars in designated areas and retrieves cars for clients.
• Finds and installs license plates.
• Notifies ASM if client is waiting.
• Keeps service drive free of vehicles.
• Maintains strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation.
• Helps clients transfer luggage or packages between cars.
• Assists techs in moving inoperable vehicles.
• Alerts Manager to any damage to clients’ vehicles.
• Assists with keeping the service drive clean and clear of debris.
• Other duties may be assigned by management.

Purpose of Position

The primary purpose of the Valet position is to ensure an extraordinary client experience while creating client advocates. The Valet will park and retrieve service clients' cars in a friendly and professional manner.

Job Duties

• Greets clients and escorts client to appropriate service member or customer lounge.
• Parks cars in designated areas and retrieves cars for clients.

• Notifies Assistant Service Manager (ASM) if client is waiting.
• Keeps service drive free of vehicles.
• Maintains strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation.
• Helps clients transfer luggage or packages between cars.
• Assists techs in moving inoperable vehicles.
• Alerts Manager to any damage to clients’ vehicles.
• Assists with keeping the service drive clean and clear of debris.
• Other duties may be assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to two years of business experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality.
• Enjoy working in a fact paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
• All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drug test, and valid driver license (must be insurable).

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential responsibilities of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment varies from low to moderate and on occasion high. Driving & traffic conditions will vary mild to heavy.
