Job summary

Honolulu Volkswagen is seeking a Service Porter to support dealership service operations. You will greet customers, help move vehicles, and keep the service area orderly. A valid driver's license and basic computer skills are required, along with a clean driving record.

The role requires open availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies the hourly pay of $20.00, with eligibility for holidays and PTO as part of Total Rewards.

Qualifications

• Automotive experience or familiarity with service operations.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Basic computer literacy for scheduling and check-in.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome service customers in a friendly manner.
• Assist customers and direct them to the service advisor.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats.
• Move vehicles to proper locations in the service area.
• Retrieve customer vehicles when ready for pickup.
• Maintain a neat, organized parking lot and work area.
• Support Service Receptionist with calls when needed.
• Assist Shuttle driver as required.
• Report safety concerns to management.

You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.What You'll DoGreet and welcome service customers in a genuinely friendly and courteous manner. Assist all customers promptly and professionally.Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel cover, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.Identify the service advisor with whom the customer has an appointment and notify that advisor.Drive vehicles from the service lane to their proper places in the service parking lot.Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when their bill is paid or as directed by the advisor.Maintain the parking lot in a neat and organized manner.
