Job summary

Acura of Honolulu is seeking a friendly Service Porter to support dealership operations and assist customers in the service drive and lot.

You will greet customers, prepare vehicles for service, assist service advisors, move vehicles, and help keep the lot and work areas organized, while maintaining a professional appearance and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Automotive knowledge or interest is expected.
• Basic computer skills for check-ins and records.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome service customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Assist customers and identify the service advisor with whom they have an appointment.
• Move vehicles from the service lane to proper parking areas and retrieve vehicles when ready.
• Maintain a neat and organized parking lot and work area.
• Support the Service Receptionist with calls and perform clerical tasks as needed.

You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.What You'll DoGreet and welcome service customers in a genuinely friendly and courteous manner. Assist all customers promptly and professionally.Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel cover, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.Identify the service advisor with whom the customer has an appointment and notify that advisor.Drive vehicles from the service lane to their proper places in the service parking lot.Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when their bill is paid or as directed by the advisor.Maintain the parking lot in a neat and organized manner.
