Job summary

The Donohoe Companies, Inc.'s CBS division is seeking a Journeyman Plumber to service commercial buildings in the Washington, DC area. You will perform all aspects of plumbing and gasfitting, backflow testing, and repair in office environments, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and overtime as needed.

Minimum five years in service plumbing, a valid Journeyman license, and Backflow certification are required. WSSC certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems in commercial buildings.
• Perform installation, troubleshooting, service and repair of plumbing and gas systems.
• Coordinate with building managers and subcontractors for timely work.
• Document all work on tickets or work orders.
• Maintain inventory and source materials as needed.

Responsibilities

The Plumber should have a Journeyman's license and will perform all aspects of commercial service plumbing and gasfitting, backflow testing and repair. Install, troubleshoot, service and repair plumbing systems in office buildings, and other commercial establishments as assigned. Hours Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (overtime as needed) Salary $45-$55

• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems as required
• Provide direction and support to sub-contractors designated to perform repair of equipment and/or hardware
• Interface with building managers and other customer representatives in order to ensure client satisfaction
• Accurately document work performed on trouble tickets or work orders
• Place and/or remove systems, hardware and equipment as required
• Purchase materials and supplies, and maintain inventory as required for timely work completion
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education Requirements with one of the following

• High School diploma or equivalent

License Requirement

• State License Journeyman in Plumbing
• Big Plus - WSSC certified
• Backflow Certification is a Requirement
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation

Experience and Physical Expectations

• Minimum of five (5) years of plumbing experience within a service role
• Able to lift to sixty (60) pounds
• Capable of ascending ladders up to a height of thirty (30) feet
