Job summary

Complete Building Services (CBS) in Washington, DC, is hiring a Plumber with a Journeyman license to perform commercial service plumbing and gasfitting, backflow testing, and preventive maintenance in office buildings. Typical hours are Monday–Friday 7:00 am–3:30 pm, with overtime as needed.

Salary ranges $45–$55 per hour. Responsibilities include inspecting systems, supervising subcontractors, coordinating with building managers, documenting work orders, and ensuring timely completion with

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• State License Journeyman in Plumbing.
• Big Plus - WSSC certified
• Backflow Certification is a Requirement
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
• Minimum of five (5) years of plumbing experience within a service role
• Able to lift to sixty (60) pounds
• Capable of ascending ladders up to a height of thirty (30) feet

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems as required
• Provide direction and support to sub-contractors designated to perform repair of equipment and/or hardware
• Interface with building managers and other customer representatives in order to ensure client satisfaction
• Accurately document work performed on trouble tickets or work orders
• Place and/or remove systems, hardware and equipment as required
• Purchase materials and supplies, and maintain inventory as required for timely work completion
• Perform other related duties as assigned

About the Role

The Plumber should have a Journeyman's license and will perform all aspects of commercial service plumbing and gasfitting, backflow testing and repair. Install, troubleshoot, service and repair plumbing systems in office buildings, and other commercial establishments as assigned. Hours Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (overtime as needed) Salary $45-$55
