Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Small Projects/Service Plumber to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering quality plumbing services in commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have the technical skills to handle various plumbing tasks, manage small-scale commercial projects, and provide expert service to our clients. The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a high sense of urgency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of plumbing tasks including installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting plumbing systems.
- Handle small to medium-sized commercial projects, ensuring work is up to code, completed on time, and within budget.
- Install and replace pipes, fixtures, and equipment for water distribution, waste, vent, and other plumbing systems.
- Conduct inspections and assessments of plumbing systems to diagnose issues and recommend repairs or upgrades.
- Collaborate with service managers, estimators, and team members for seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client questions and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including parts used, time spent, and issues encountered.
- Follow directions and complete the scope of work as directed; no sales required.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and coaching.
- Maintain a teaching mentality and willingness to learn.
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of proven commercial plumbing experience, focusing on small projects and service work.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and plumbing codes.
- Professional appearance, personable demeanor, and excellent customer service skills.
- Punctuality and reliability in attendance.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid plumbing license (journeyworker or master preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent, with trade certifications preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Ability to pass background checks for work in sensitive environments.
- Willingness to work on-call if needed.
- Drain cleaning and jetting experience is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of water heaters, fixtures, boilers, and backflow devices is advantageous.
- Familiarity with technology and digital tools.
- Self-starter with motivation and a sense of urgency.
- Basic hand and power tools; specialty tools provided.
- Residence in the Denver metro area.
