Job Details

Title: Service Plumber

Reports to: Service Manager

Job Summary: This position is equivalent to a “Journeyman” position in the trades, requiring 5 or more years of experience and mastery knowledge of commercial plumbing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist with daily guidance, training, and direction to the plumbing crew.
2. Perform work under minimal supervision.
3. Handle complex issues and problems, referring only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
4. Assemble, install, and repair plumbing systems according to project specifications and codes, including pipes, fittings, fixtures, boilers, and medgas systems.
5. Adhere to safety procedures and maintain work quality.
6. Maintain professionalism with team members, contractors, owners, and vendors.
7. Make decisions by analyzing information and evaluating results.
8. Review and interpret blueprints, plans, manuals, building codes, and specifications.
9. Demonstrate good analytical skills and attention to detail.
10. Provide excellent customer service and aim to exceed expectations.
11. Follow directions clearly and communicate effectively.
12. Lift and move heavy objects with manual dexterity.
13. Maintain physical stamina and work independently to complete jobs correctly the first time.
