Job summary

The Young Automotive Group in Missoula, MT is seeking a Service Parts Coordinator to join our team. You will ensure the correct OEM or aftermarket parts are ordered, delivered to service technicians, and matched to each repair order. This role emphasizes accuracy, speed, and teamwork with service advisors, managers, and technicians.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft, and their components.
• Familiarity with dealership software, electronic parts catalogs, and basic computer applications.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Pull, verify, and deliver parts to technicians for repair orders.
• Ensure parts match the correct vehicle and repair order.
• Bill parts to the appropriate service repair order.
• Communicate delays, backorders, and part substitutions promptly.
• Order OEM and aftermarket parts for service jobs.
• Track special orders and notify the service team when parts arrive.
• Follow up on backorders and work to expedite deliveries.
• Process parts returns, core returns, and warranty claims.
• Receive, inspect, and update incoming inventory.
• Restock parts bins and assist with inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Work closely with Service Advisors, Managers, and Technicians to meet parts needs.
• Assist retail parts customers as needed.
