Job summary

Young Automotive Group is seeking a Service Parts Coordinator to support service technicians and writers with OEM and aftermarket parts. You will manage parts orders, verify compatibility with vehicles, and keep inventory accurate in a fast-paced dealership setting.

Responsibilities include processing orders, tracking backorders, and assisting customers and the service team to minimize downtime while upholding safety and organization standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and related components.
• Powersports, automotive, or marine parts/service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with dealership software, electronic parts catalogs, and basic computer applications.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to follow through in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record and pass background check/drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Pull, verify, and deliver parts to technicians for repair orders.
• Ensure parts match the correct vehicle and repair order.
• Bill parts to the appropriate service repair order.
• Communicate delays, backorders, and part substitutions promptly.
• Order OEM and aftermarket parts for service jobs.
• Track special orders and notify the service team when parts arrive.
• Follow up on backorders and expedite deliveries.
• Process parts returns, core returns, and warranty claims.
• Receive, inspect, and update incoming inventory.
• Restock parts bins and assist with inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Work closely with Service Advisors, Managers, and Technicians to meet parts needs.
• Assist retail parts customers as needed.
