Job summary

Mercer Advisors in San Diego seeks a Service Operations Associate I to handle administrative and transactional support within the Client Service department. You will process paperwork, move money, and maintain accurate records in CRM and custodial platforms.

Role complements Relationship Managers by enabling seamless client experiences, with a defined path to more senior roles and opportunities to contribute to process improvements and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Two to Four years of job related experience
• Financial services industry required
• Prior experience in an office environment with a customer service focus is helpful
• Bachelor's degree preferred or higher

Responsibilities

• Process client paperwork, forms, and documentation with accuracy and efficiency.
• Execute money movement requests (wires, ACH transfers, journal entries) per policies.
• Monitor and manage service requests in a centralized queue.
• Maintain detailed records of transactions and communications in the CRM and custodial platforms.
• Coordinate with custodians and third-party platforms to resolve issues and facilitate transactions.
• Ensure compliance standards and internal controls are met and align with internal departments.
• Support process improvements and onboarding/training of new team members.
