Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of related experience, or 5+ years total experience
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• Knowledge of budgeting and cost/revenue projections
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations of the service department
• Coaches staff and allocates resources to meet goals in customer satisfaction, market share and profitability
• Oversees annual budgeting process for the service department
• Ensures contamination control standards are followed
• Leads safety initiatives and monitors safety performance
• Interprets staff reports and data to track on-going work and projected completion dates
• Maintains accurate scheduling and communication for all service work
• Manages Work In Process and KPIs for work orders, processes and personnel
• Governs career paths and learning plans for department staff
• Participates in on-call rotation for the service department
