Job summary

Beacon Mobility is seeking a Service Operations Manager for our Litchfield, IL location to lead the service department, supervise technicians, and ensure timely, high‑quality repairs while building strong customer relationships.

You will manage department profitability, plan workloads, and collaborate with parts, sales, and management to meet goals. Experience in heavy-duty service and supervisory roles is required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of service supervisory experience, including repair estimating; dealership experience preferred.
• At least 7 years of heavy-duty truck, equipment, and/or body shop technician experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; business degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day service department operations and keep repairs on schedule.
• Support technicians, improve shop productivity, and maintain quality service.
• Be accountable for service department goals, costs, and profitability.
• Lead, hire, train, motivate, and evaluate service department staff.
• Coordinate with parts, office, sales, and management to keep commitments.
• Meet with customers, prepare estimates, and address concerns promptly.
