Job summary

Kemco Facility Services is seeking an experienced Service Manager for Alabama, based in Birmingham or Montgomery. This salaried role leads a team of 10–15 remote field technicians, manages service orders, and maintains strong client relations across retail, banking, hospitality and healthcare.

Reporting to the Divisional General Manager, the role requires sharp organizational skills, safety leadership, and the ability to plan, dispatch, and oversee projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years field service management experience.
• Experience with dispatching, tracking, inventory and invoicing in CMMS.
• Experience with ServiceChannel, Corrigo or Fexa is a plus.
• MS Office proficiency; Excel and Outlook important.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Background screening, MVR and drug test.required.

Responsibilities

• Technician Management: lead 10–15 remote technicians, ensure productivity and safety.
• Service Order Management: plan, assign, dispatch, monitor progress, update clients.
• Project Management: coordinate quotes and scope with managers and clients.
• Customer Service: maintain effective client communications and onboarding.
• Safety Compliance: promote safety, PPE, and incident reporting.
• Documentation: keep thorough records of orders and communications.
• Inventory Management: track tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Training and Development: stay current and assign training.
